Safety As well as ensuring our customers are safe in their homes we’ll seek to improve the wellbeing, mental health and safety of our customers and colleagues and the safety and security of the places where they live and work. Value We’ll reduce costs through better working practices and effective procurement, where we can do so without undermining service standards and quality, and we’ll maximise income by improving collection rates and optimising our commercial activities. The future Riverside is growing and in December 2021, formed a complementary partnership with London-based One Housing Group. The enlarged Group owns just over 75,000 homes, putting us in the top 5 English housing association groups by size, and making us the country’s largest housing association provider of supported housing. For the next two years, One Housing will operate as a subsidiary of Riverside. During that period, they will continue to operate within the Group as a separate legal entity. Over the next two years, the teams at Riverside and One Housing will work together to look at all aspects of our operations with a view to forming a single, integrated organisation. Throughout this period, we will involve customers in helping to shape services and keep them updated of progress. We will also work towards creating a new corporate plan for the whole group for the period 2023 to 2026. The Riverside Group Limited is a charitable Registered Society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 managed by Executive Directors, and governed by a Group Board.
