Certi-fi Schemes operates two schemes in the renewable energy sector - EPVS and Flexi-Orb -

EPVS (Energy Performance Validation Scheme) is a certification standard that certifies the processes used by installers. Flexi-Orb (Flexible Energy Oversight Registration Body) is the oversight body for the renewable and flexible energy sectors.

Certi-fi Schemes are committed to providing an end-to-end certification process which covers every aspect of a consumer’s journey. Starting with the manufacture of products, through to installation. Our objective is to be the leading certification scheme in our field, maintain UKAS recognition and accreditation, and support our members to truly differentiate themselves from their competitors. At the heart of everything that we do, is the welfare and protection of the consumer, facilitating the green economy.

Our certification processes are robust and impartial; ensuring the trust and confidence of consumers, industry, government, and stakeholders. Our processes and systems are set up in accordance with ISO 17065:2012 and in 2023 we became the first UK Certification Scheme Owner in renewable energy to be recognised by UKAS to ISO 17067:2013.
